David Hersh is an innovative visionary in the world of professional sports. His career began as general manager, while still in college. Two record breaking years later, he found a way to buy a AAA team with only $500 to his name, thus becoming the youngest person ever to own a team. Since then, David has personally raised nearly $50 million in equity. He put together ownership and operating groups spanning the sports industry.
As part of his hands on experience, he has sold millions of tickets and set attendance records in five cities. Experience has proven he is not only creative promoter, but an expert in the fan entertainment experience.
The field side of business began by coaching football at the Division III level. Overseeing the team effort resulted in four championships, nine playoff appearances, and running the NY Yankees Player Development system.
Mr. Hersh has been a key player in the building of one stadium, the renovation of two stadiums, and the purchase of another. His extensive public speaking and media background includes,serving on the air in both radio and television, and working behind the scenes as the President of a regional radio network.
